Panicos Kyriacou is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Biomedical Research Centre at City, University of London. He has over 25 years of experience in leading research in the field of optical sensing. His main motivation is the utilisation of light for the innovation of disruptive non-invasive optical sensor technologies for the early diagnosis of disease and the facilitation of unobtrusive health and fitness monitoring.
